Next February 24 begins the V Edition of the university project Telepizza Excellence Lab , a laboratory of great ideas promoted by the leading brand in pizza delivery in Spain that every year, since 2017, opens the doors to the creativity of new generations. This new edition , which for the second consecutive year will have the participation of more than 20 Universities from Spain and Latin America , will be led by the recent collaboration agreement between Telepizza and LaLiga . The relationship between Telepizza and football has always been very close . For years, the brand has collaborated with several grMassroots football teams, betting on youth talent from the sporting world . In 2018, Telepizza consolidated this link by becoming a collaborating brand of LaLiga Genuine Santander, the first league for people from the DI group (people with intellectual disabilities). As a result of this collaboration, in 2019 Telepizza went one step further and together with FUNDACIÓN LaLiga launched a labor inclusion project to incorporate players from this league in the company's stores. That same year, the Third Edition of Telepizza Excellence Lab was led by this labor inclusion project and the students worked on the challenge of “how to bring LaLiga Genuine Santander to Generation Z”, where excellent results and proposals were obtained.
This collaboration was consolidated in September 2020, when Telepizza and LaLiga announced an agreement by which the leading pizza delivery company in Spain became the official sponsor of LaLiga Santander Phone Number List and Smartbank for the next three seasons. Now, Telepizza expands this collaboration with the new challenge of Telepizza Excellence Lab 2021. The students participating in this V Edition of Telepizza Excellence Lab will work for 5 months to propose original proposals and ideas that promote and grow the collaboration between both brands. During this time, Telepizza will hold work sessions with each university to finish outlining its proposals and, as a novelty this year, it will have a mentoring program in which active marketing and communication professionals will advise students on the approach and feasibility of their projects. After that, the finalist teams will compete in the Grand Final of the project , which will last two days, where the students will receive training, workshops and workshops. The Grand Jury, made up of great professionals from the business sector in Spain, will be in charge of choosing the winning group of this V Edition.
As happened in 2020, this edition of Telepizza Excellence Lab will be held online due to the circumstances caused by Covid-19. However, Telepizza hopes to be able to celebrate the grand final in person at the official LaLiga headquarters , if circumstances allow. In this way, Telepizza Excellence Lab celebrates its V Edition in 2021 with an experience full of successes in which the number of participating students has tripled . Furthermore, during this time the number of universities affiliated to the initiative has also increased by 40%, taking a crucial step in its evolution in 2020 with the inclusion of universities from Latin America.
